Mr. Bernstein is a senior partner at the Philadelphia firm of Kanter, Bernstein & Kardon. Mr. Bernstein has been in practice since 1970. He received his J.D. from Temple University School of Law. He was selected in 2012-2016 as a Top Rated Philadelphia Personal Injury Lawyer and received the National Peer Review AV Preeminent rating for ethical standards and legal ability. He was an Adjunct Professor teaching Civil Litigation at Peirce College. He has been a guest commentator on the television series, Legal View, sponsored by the Philadelphia Bar Association. He serves on the Fee Disputes Committee for the Philadelphia Bar Association and is lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute for Advanced Issues in Civil Practice and Fundamentals of Civil Practice.
Marty Kardon is a nationally recognized expert in the field of elder abuse and neglect. He has served as chair of the national trial lawyers’ organization Nursing Home Litigation Group and remains active in consulting with and teaching other attorneys across the country how to best represent the interests of the frail elderly. He has been practicing law in Pennsylvania since 1977.
Marty has received the highest possible score (“AV”) from the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings program that reports lawyers’ legal ability and ethical standards based upon random, confidential inquiries made to other attorneys in their legal community.
He has been a listed as a Pennsylvania Super-Lawyer since 2012 and is active in courts throughout all of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Pincus was trained in the Philadelphia City Solicitor’s office and later was counsel to a major auto insurance company. He became associated with the firm of Kanter, Bernstein and Kardon in 1985. In addition to representing clients in personal injury and workers’ compensation matters, he practices in the fields of domestic relations, residential real estate and contract litigation.
